A very young pair of exCichlasoma istlanum 'Rio Balsas' with fry.

My newly acquired Archocentrus centrarchus pair spawned in their new home, in the video you can see the unique parental control behaviour of the parents sticking the wrigglers to objects, in this case the underside of a piece of bogwood.

Here is video of my wild caught Rocio octofasciata aka Jack Dempsey cichlids. The fish in the video are from Cenote Aktun Ha which is also known as Cenote Car Wash which is located in the Yucatan Peninsula, Mexico. They are protecting wrigglers in a coconut cave. Also in the video is pictures of the Cenote when I visited and another species of cichlid found in the same Cenote.

A wild caught pair of Amatitlania siquia 'Rio Tempisque' defending fry in a community tank. You can see the female collecting fry in her mouth and moving them to safety. Great parental care!

Young adult pair of exCichlasoma festae spawning, there is a lot of eggs inside the plant pot. These are very aggressive fish, common name Red Terror.

My Wild caught pair of exCichlasoma festae aka Red Terrors have spawned, you may not be able to see, but the eggs are in the terracotta pot, there are a lot of eggs, hopefully this spawn will be bigger than the last of around 100 fry.

A short underwater video of a beautiful group of Poecilia velifera livebearers, more commonly known as the Sailfin Molly. This video was shot in Cenote Cristalino, Yucatan Peninsula, Mexico. Seeing this fish in the wild, baffles me as to why people have line bred the fish for different colours, which take away from their real beauty. Note, it has now been suggested that these fish are P.velifera, not P.latipinna, I agree with this hence why I have changed the title of the video. Enjoy!

Here is a my pair of Cryptoheros myrnae pair with fry, the fry are around 5 days free swimming, another stunning Cryptoheros, very underrated cichlids, perfect for all keepers, they are in a 24"by15"by15" tank, they will be given a bigger tank soon, they only need smallish tanks at adult hood as they max out 4-6".
